OK, those of you who have been asking for a swag hog fix can take note of recent things I got from some of the more lovely pr people...sadly, a few places that offered to messenger over my post fashion or beauty preview party loot have not come through. I am a legitimate journo who writes this stuff up but I am still angry my stuff has not arrived. Pictured are a great brown crossbody bag from a recent Eddie Bauer preview in a special high-end trailer parked outside the School Of Visual Arts, only part of a big sack of M&M's with a $25 gift card for the M&M store in Times Square, two $100 Piper Lime preview gift cards and a half-pound of Starbuck's Christmas blend with a $10 gift card (I think they could have given us more than that, but there were some other food goodies and a hot and cold cup in their bag). Kohl's also makes it a habit of giving out $100 gift cards at their previews--some of our fave events of the year. Their events always have great clothes, great housewares and nice grub. Welcome to my first blog! I am a regular attendee of New York events, especially fashion and beauty events, where it's all about the products, food and fun...and a big part of that fun for me is the swag. Just call me the SWAG HAG or even the SWAG HOG...at a recent Via Spiga fall preview event for fashion editors and bloggers, attendees got to pick out a free pair of summer sandals from four choices! I ended up with Ecstasy in blue. This style also comes in orange and black and if you want a pair, they are now reduced from $175 to $119...and I must add that hey are very comfy for high shoes since they have cork wedges! All hail Via Spiga and their wonderful PR people at Alison Brod PR!
